I have been a bit of a pack rat. This weekend I had to face my past. My wife gave me the ulimatum that the bankers boxes of old files had to go. What you see here is the remaining 3 boxes. This is a symptom of a problem, and a cry for a simple solution.
Its also the source of an idea for a genealogy workshop. Put your thinking caps on, boys and girls and develop a proposal for a workshop you could offer to teach genealogists how to digitize, organize store and retrieve their document.
If you send me a proposal that follows the models shown in Professional Genealogy, or would meet the standard format of the Federation of Genealogical Societies or the National Genealogical Society, I’ll critique it. The deadline is 30 March. Send your proposals and cover letters to me at kcaitken@accesscomm.ca
